Ambassadors for Good

We fund Ambassadors for Good, a skills-based volunteering programme that connects Anglo American and De Beers Group employees with local organisations.

Volunteers apply their expertise to support grassroots initiatives, working directly with organisations to strengthen both communities and the organisations themselves through hands-on collaboration.

Volunteers co-design and implement high-impact projects that build capacity within local organisations. By investing in this programme, the Foundation helps turn employee skills into real-world solutions that empower communities and strengthen local organisations.

Emergency Response

We stand with communities during times of crisis, providing support where it is needed most. In 2023, we allocated £589,000 to organisations responding to earthquakes in Syria and Turkey, wildfires in Canada, and flooding in Cape Town.

By working with trusted partners on the ground, we help ensure communities receive the resources and assistance they need to recover and rebuild.

Matched Giving

We believe in the power of collective generosity. Through the Employee Match Giving programme, we match funds raised by Anglo American employees for eligible charities, doubling their impact and helping vital causes go even further.

We are proud to support Giving Tuesday on 3 December, a global movement that celebrates the power of generosity. Since its launch in 2012, Giving Tuesday has inspired millions to come together in a spirit of unity and kindness.

By supporting the causes that matter most to our people, we strengthen communities and foster a culture of giving.
