No, unfortunately we do not provide funding to individuals.
The Foundation provides funding to organisations directly rather than through individual fundraising activities; therefore, we are unable to fund your effort.
We work with partners who have deep local expertise in the countries we support. These collaborations bring experienced voices, innovative solutions, and scalable impact.
Our funding decisions are guided by our values, ways of working, and the potential to drive systemic impact effectively and efficiently.
Actions that fund activities that would ordinarily be deemed to be business activities; this includes:
- Actions that relate to the benefit of the Anglo American business.
- Activities of a political or religious nature
- Sponsorships
- Funding for private companies, (with the exception that it is a contribution to community development programmes through measures such as enterprise and supplier development for the benefit of host communities).
- Direct donations or grants to individuals.
- Activities not located in Anglo American countries of operation.
